Window Motor Replacement Problem
So heres the deal, my window motor went out (as expected) so I purchased a new one and went to replace it. Upon opening up the door panel I noticed that the p/o had drilled out the four large rivets holding the whole track section in place. I thought nothing of it and continued to drill the access holes for the rivets holding in the motor. After getting on the holes drilled I realized the motor had been replaced once already and was now in place with a bolt and nut where each rivet was. I tried to see if I could drill through them but that just isnt going to happen and I cant get a screwdriver to turn the screw for the life of me. Is there a way I can just remove the whole track? Or how exactly would you guys go about doing this? Thanks.

do you have a mechanics mirror? If not, go get one as they are dirt cheap
stick the mirror back there and your answer will be right in front of you.
there must be a nut on those little bolts and slip joints will fit in there
you can always upsize on pop rivets if you don't like nuts and bolts
I used rivets on the 3rd gen and nuts/bolts on the 4th gen which btw, will be getting another round of motors because the 3 year old one is starting to go.
I suppose I could always put a capacitor in line
