I am the proud owner of a 1995 camaro z28 that I have bought over a month ago, but have run into a problem with the passenger window. The window will only go up and not down when pressing the passenger button. And the switch on the drivers side does not operate the window at all. I have replaced the motor twice and have checked the switches. I have read that this has happened to other guys and it ended up being the window relay under the dash. My problem is that I can not find this relay in any store, junked gm car, or even online. All the gm cars I find at the salvage yard only has one relay under the dash, and mine appears to have two (one that plugs into the firewall, and one that is in a sleeve behind the radio). Can anyone help point me in the right direction to find one?

I am unable to see the picture, the forum is not letting me. It is like a small black box with a like 6 or 7 wires coming out of it is the one i am looking for. I can only find the one that has 4 bigger wires coming out of it which I assume to be the drivers side relay. Sorry if I am not making any sense about what they look like, I have no descriptive ability haha

Still unable to see the picture you are trying to show me. Says I do not have the permission. I looked at the information on the second post which was an awsome amount of info, but was unable to find the second black box I am looking for. Perhaps I did not look hard enough, I am going to look through it more in depth when I have a minute. It is just wierd that every camaro, firebird, and trans am I found at the junk hard only had one of those black boxes (express down switch I assume) and not the relay I am looking for.

 

ok you have 3 posts now you should be able to see the picture. its the express down module. im not sure what relay your looking for. if you look at the wiring diaram it does not have one in the system.

 

Thanks for the help, I did see the photo and I thought the r.a.p. module was relay for the passenger side. I didn't think the express down controlled the passenger side window.
