Default Window issue

It's not really a huge deal to me, it's just kinda annoying. But I've noticed every once and awhile my driver side window has a hard time going up after I put it down. It starts, then stops. Then I wait a little bit and try again, and it only goes up a little bit more. The longer I wait, the more power it has and it goes up farther. Is this a motor issue? Case said his Blazer does the same thing only when it's cold. I don't remember when mine started whether it was cold out or not. I was just kinda curious about this.

Thanks, craby, I kinda figured it was the motor. I'll look into it.

The worn motor is getting weak, overloading itself, and temporarily kicking off the internal circuit breaker. The wiring mod craby is referring to is for fixing the lower voltage power supply problem to the passenger side window, (power that's now coming from the drivers side door). That kit isn't going to help your situation, but a new motor will.

Oh ok. I guess I'll have to get a new motor at some point. My passenger side is a little weak, but it doesn't do the same thing. It just goes up and down slower than the driver side.

Nice, thanks 69. I'd like to get the express kits, but they're way too expensive.

35$ is expensive? Or are you talking about something else?

Also make sure that the felt guides on the inside of the door are not too tight against the glass making more friction on the glass. This will wear out the motors faster and also cause the breaker to pop.
