Default Will this work on my stock 94

Ok, so ive gotta get rid of this rubber induction boot.. i took it out and looked at it and it has HUGE chunks missing from the lip. Now my question is will this Trick Flow LT1 Inlet Elbow work out? Also whats the advantage of getting rid of the resonator tube?

(dont worry, once i get this and my exhaust leak fixed ill get a cai)

I don't see why it wouldn't. I'm not sure what "resonator tube" it's talking about. I have the 1LE intake boot, and I never saw any tube... I thought you were wanting just a cheap stocker. Why the change?

Well the long thing that sticks out of the bottom of the stock tube is what ive heard refered to as a resonator.. idk... I was figuring on getting a new cai and if i can make the entire thing more efficient why the hell not. If i dont get anyone to buy this car from me im going to turn it into a track monster for this summer because ill be working more and getting more money for it again. If someone buys it from me then im saving for a 98-02 T/A WS6... Well ive already started saving... every penny i find i put in my piggy bank [8D]. Ive got two agendas you kno? The first is to sell the Camaro for a newer T/A. If that doesnt work then the 2nd is to fix up the camaro.. The Camaro has alot of sentamental value to me... but i dont know how long it will last unless i put ALOT more than 3000 into its well being.

I had that issue where my intake elbow somehow got a hole so I took out my moroso intake which is for sale now and just bought a intake off ebay that came with an elbow.

The 1LE intake boot didn't come with a resonator (or affectionately referred to as the "donkey dong") for performance reasons. The 1LE package was geared towards "serious performance enthusiasts only" so they could toss out any noise cancelling stuff in the engine bay, before 1996 they also didn't come with an A/C system either.

It's there to resonate at a certain frequency that cancels out intake noise. I'm not quite sure exactly how much it can reduce flow, all it amounts to is a 1" hole that goes into a plastic tube, it doesn't even have anything that obstructs flow, all it's going to make is a little turbulence (if anything, it's like a built in Turbonator! It adds power!![8D]), so I don't know why people worry about it so much.

So it doesnt matter if the boot has it or not.

Well, the boot is pretty important because that gets air from the MAF to the throttle body, but the Donkey Dong doesn't really matter.
