We had snow one night about a week ago, but it was all melted by the time I hit the road the next day, and they didn't need to put salt down. So if I live in Alabama and don't get snow, and they don't salt the road... no problem?

I was thinking of driving this car instead of my Saturn (wife's dd) for my road trip this Christmas. My wife and I will be heading to North Carolina to visit relatives. I don't know if they're expecting snow or not, but I really just wanted to know whether or not this was a bad idea.

Edit: I know the Saturn gets way better traction and gas mileage, but I was hoping for the road trip to be a bit more fun. If there's a real reason not to go out in cold weather, I'll take the Saturn, but if it's just a question of snow and road salt, I think I'll go with the Camaro.
