who agrees with me?
They're not meant to be driven around on for weeks on end, nor to make a fashion statement. It's to get you by till you get the bad tire fixed relatively soon. A spare that's not a sorry excuse wouldn't fit in the back of your car.
If you are planning to keep that doughnut on the back of the car for an extended time, don't do it. The difference in tire size will cause the differential to fail. Swap it with a full size tire from the front.
Oh no, I never plan on having the donut on there long. Had it repaired the next day and did all the driving I needed to on my wife's car. Thanks for the advise though, it's appreciated.

If I remember right GM specs those tires as one use 20 mile limit.
I would not rotate to the front. The front tires are responsible for about 80% of your braking. So in the back it will increase your stopping distance by no more than 10% and it would make the try to pull a little. In the front you could increase you stopping distance 40% and almost certainly throw can car sidways.
