Where are the check valves located?
I have a 98, 5.7L.
Do these require changing often? I live in Ontario. I think they were replaced once, when the car was still under warranty. One of the valves (if it was the check valves) was blocked from internal corrosion caused by moisture buildup, so I was told. Further, my engine light comes on in winter and tends to stay on as well..finally the code will store and the light goes off and stays off during the mild season.
Thank you.

thats kindof what i was thinking..... is OP coming back to elaborate?
but he did say he gets an SEL in the winter. no fbody ever had low tire pressure lights so i doubt its those valves.

AIR? there is an AIR system hose on each side on the front cylinder. the AIR pump itself is on the drivers side and you have to access it from a little flap under the car. its right up behind the drivers side head light.
