it was loud no matter what at high rpm but it echoed throughout my neighborhood when it was in the garage as for the rasp it would do it no matter what... chaotic94 has a Z28 muffler on his car although ive only heard it over the phone it sounds pretty good but still rasps at high rpm really the only thing youll get that doesnt rasp is borla but there mighty expensive there cheepest mufflers the turbo series is about 170$ (there an average muffler) but there good stuff the XR-1 series is around 300$-600$ (this is what you would want) and thats just the muffler then you have to add in the cost of pipes and install if you need a cat i suggest a highflow as the cat kills the sound

This kinda sucks because I wanna get a new muffler setup Instead of stock. Well my muffler has a small crack on It thats part of the reason. The other reason Is I want a nice sound not stock crap. But the last thing I want Is a raspy sound on my car sounding almost like a crap can.

First let me ask you this... how often do you redline the car if I were you I'd get a flowmaster catback imo they sound great aslong as your not bringing the rpms up all the time below 3000 people thought I had a V8

Technically redline is when you tack needle touches the red... but your car won't (or atleast shouldnt) but basically I'm asking how often do you floor it and bring the rpms up as high as they'll go

If you are talking about like coasting the car then slamming the gas to hear the engine roar then kick In I do that often.

Lightbulb

All RS models are V6 engines.

Also, there is nothing better than a good sounding exhaust with NO rasp, IMHO.
