So I guess this is a follow-up to my last post. I went to see the Z28 today and it's basically real nice. Everything looks close to mint. It drives strong, and the guy seems honest enough.

Again, here's the car:

He said the car needs to be inspected and is probably going to need new tires. He said that if I want he can get the car inspected and then we can talk offers, which is what I planned on asking anyway. I would to shop around for tires, but if it won't pass inspection he might need to get some put on. I am just really interested in what you guys suggest as an offer. Maybe an offer without tires and with? Any general offers would be great. Thanks guys.

Just wanted to add on that the KBB I am coming up with is $13,365.

I wouldn't expect you to be able to get it for less than 14,000. That looks like a nicely maintained car from the pictures and is pretty low on the mileage. Z28's and SS's along with T/A's and WS6's almost always grab more than what the blue book value is, at least in my experience. You can shoot for blue book but if they guy truly knows what he has, I doubt you'll get him below 14,000.

Thanks for the reply. I am not trying to be a cheapskate, I just wanted to make sure the price is reasonable and fair. Maybe 14ish, $14,300 for the car with the new inspection and new tires?
