Default what you guys think?

alright so alot have probably seen my build thread and i wanna know what you guys think of my goals. my goals are 9.80s at around 135mph. now from what the calculator i used says is that if i reach my 650hp goal the car should be capable of 9.70s at 3400lbs. so do you guys think this is correct or close?

Well the calculation is theoretical, meaning you got a perfect launch. So...if you can get perfect traction those numbers should work. I would assume you're going to be in the low 10's since you're not perfect...or if you are perfect your tires aren't.

Honestly you'll never know until you get there and drive it...you can make as many calculations as you want, but the only way you'll really know is when you go and do it.

i don't think your goals are out of the question...just like slvr said you're going to have to be perfect. i'd guess your first time out, your best run of the night will be 10.2 or so which obviously is still cruisin so don't be disappointed. eventually you will get used to that power and i honestly think you will reach your goal of 9.8
