the hood for the 96-7 models is different than the newer ones however, but the scoop is only for SS's

99's had that too, but good call. I dont think its 98 because only the 98s had blue tinted mirrors, and they dont look like mine

it's definately a 98 or 99.. 00-02's didnt come with the side moldings..
if only we knew the damn differential in it.. among various other things that would give it away.. lol

Spec: The Blue tinted mirrors were an option, but I think only with Pontiac, my Dad's 1994 Formula had them

All Z28's had black colored mirrors unless specified otherwise when it was ordered from the factory for 1998-1999.

We've narrowed it down to two years, I think that's close enough since nothing really changed except some extra features (1999 had a larger fuel tank, engine oil life moniter, low fuel guage, non-metallic fuel tank etc.)

Yes they did. My 01 has them and so does every other 00-02 I have seen (unless the owner remover them, which is pretty common). There is no way to tell from the pics what year it is, not that it really matters as they all perform about the same.

damn, your right.. I could've sworn i read somewhere that they didnt, and i knew my friends 00 didnt have them.. but, then i looked at a few pics and sure enough they do...
