Default What would be a good cam for my LS1

Hey guys i was wondering what cam would be good for my 99 Z28. It has the LS1 which im sure most of you already know. I want i cam with a mild street cam with i noticable rougher idle. I do not want to kill my gas milage on my daily driver. And i also do not want to change out my springs and lifters, if the is any wy possible with that. And what is the differece between a hydrolic cam and a regular cam. Thanks robert

Call a camshaft company & see what they recommend. Never heard of a "hydrolic" cam, but most cars come with hydraulic valve lifters from the factory. A regular cam is something like regular shoes.

If your not willing to change out the springs, don't bother with a cam swap. This falls under the "if your going to do it, do it right the first time" catagory.
