Cold ain intake cat back exhaust... It will prolly never be as fast as you want it to be just cause its a v6 and not a lt1

im in the same boat as you. ive heard 3400 v6 heads intakes and cams are bolt on and much better, thought about rear mount turbo(the 3.4l has low compression which is good for a turbo). and ive considered a cam kit. supersix.com will redo your heads and intake if you send them in to them. if you come up with anything let me know thanks

I would have to say cold air intake, as well. I'm definitely putting one in my car. We had some 10 degree weather here a while back and my car ran amazing! You could also get a performance computer chip for some easy horses

I just put a ram-air intake onto my 93 V6 and saw a difference. My motor has some milage though, so I will let it die, get another block and build that. Im considering a turbo for some extra power.

Search the V6 section and check out the FAQ. This has all been gone over 2000 times already. I mean come on these cars are 15 years old you think your the first guys that have thought making the V6 faster would be neat.

And welcome to the camaro forums and congratulations on your first post.
The search function is your friend as I'm sure you've noticed by now.
From what I gather the 3 things people seem to do the most with the v6's are.

1. Cold Air Intake.
2. Cat Back Exaust upgrades.
3. Computer tweaking.

I'm not a mechanic so I can't really help you in doing these things but there are a lot of knowlegable people here that can help you.

What I am doing with my camaro is repowering it with a new crate engine, having a CAI installed, and I'm thinking about redoing the exaust, but that will come after the engine replacement is done.

Good luck with the project, and keep us posted on how your doing with it.

Van
