Default What kind of headers do you have

Ok, this is mainly directed for LT1 guys, but if you have another enginewith headers lets hear what you got too. I want to hear engine model LT1/LS1/3800/3.4L what type of headers you have, where you got it and how much you paid.

I've got Edelbrock long tubes. Not sure what they cost because they came with the car when I bought it 7 years ago. Seem to work pretty good. I've never heard anything bad about em.

I have LS1 with SLP LongTube headers. I have had them for 4+ years. I paid $700 with highflow cats/y-pipe. I like them.

I got ceramic coated Pacesetter longtubes for about $360. I later bought the y-pipe for $100 from them too, which now I wish I would've got ceramic coated too.

yeah i was looking at 3 different ones and im not sure, Pace, Dynatechs or hookers. Pace: (Painted) 279 (coated) 409. Dynatechs: 479.99. Hookers: 486.99. Id like Dynatechs because ive heard they are just as good as kooks but half the price... even if that price is spendy still... ive see alot of people with pace headers and hookers a well known well advertised brand that i see used on TV shows alot.

Pace guys do you notice a strong difference between stock and the new headers power and sound? Also how are your gaskets holding up? Do you suggest painted or "Armor-coated"? I assume the coated ones that cost more probably are the ones that wont oxidize like the painted ones.
