Default What kind of exhaust is this?

Previous owner had this installed dual dual performance exhaust from SLP.

I know the big metal box in the middle is the cat box, but where are the mufflers, are they gone?

& also, is this an "H pipe"?

I don't know **** about exhausts.

thats your muffler, the cat or cats should be to the front in the area of the transmission. the split pipe in the picture is just for looks. any h or x pipe would be up front in the same area by the trans.

your car uses a y pipe, h pipe is for a true dual setup.

cats are up with the exhaust manifolds on either side of the engine

How do I take the muffler off?
Any one got a guide for 01 camaros??

It is y pipe, I suppose, because it's one pipe that splits into two with a dual outlet

Why would you want to take the muffler off and why are you asking about the maf and ecu

Just a little info maf stands for mass air flow sensor it measures how much air come into the engine then sends a signal to the ecu or engine control unit and tells your car how much fuel to flow

I have a question?

Is that a rug or stamped concrete on the floor in your folks' garage?

I can't really tell but it almost looks like a rug.
