what kind of plugs. the irridium ones i use last for 10k miles and my lt1 is rich so they foul and dont wear out. im sure if i could fix the rich condition i could get 30 or 40k miles. see if the plugs are fouled (all black) bad, that could be the problem if its missing.

I can't remember what brand. I got them at autozone and they said they were the good ones ($7 a piece) and I had an uncle change them for me since hes a mechanic and after I saw how the plugs were setup, I was like "to hell with this" lol but I'll try and crawl up under there and check them all.

Sounds as if the noise is reverberating in the intake, or like there is something actually rattling around in your elbow or filter area? Just take it off and look.
Have you figured out the jerking/shudder problem yet?

I went to check the air filter unit and the rattle stopped. If it comes back i'll check on it.
Both sides of the exhaust in the rear makes the hissing noise and was told since its aftermarket its suppose to do that. (magnaflow) but I dont remember it doing that but then again I never paid attention.
Got the appointment rescheduled for the 11th so ill keep everyone updated.

Looks like you may have been right.
Yesterday I took apart the whole air filter unit, looked for anything loose inside to cause the rattle. Didn't find anything, so I put it all back together, tightened everything, made sure it was all connected tightly. Replaced the air filter. (Old one wasn't even that bad, but figured why not?)
Took it for a drive later and noticed there was no more "gurgle" noise and the jerking was gone. I tried OD just to be sure, and not a jerk or nothing. Runs like it use to.

I guess it was the air filter unit not being connected properly. Funny how something that small and easy can cause a big headache. Glad I don't have to pay the mechanic $50 next week to look at it.
Thanks to everyone who helped.
