Looking to get some new stuff for my car and just want to get the most for my money. Here are my options:
Engine- Lt's with catted y, K&N intake, plugs/wires
Suspension- lowering springs, bilstein shocks

The plugs/wires and the suspesion are all things that are worn and have never been replaced to my knowledge so I figure now would be a good time. But my main question is what, dollar for dollar, will be most effective in terms of engine upgrades? I know the headers help more than the intake but they also cost 3 times as much. I don't want to get anything I can't do myself because I dont want to spend a huge amount of money for an install and I just don't trust any shops around here.

 

if your keeping your motor mostly stock get ac delco plugs and wires (stock).......
k&n cold air intake is great for power and sound. at least on the LT1's
and you know what you need on that car man? some nice chrome emblems....[sm=bling.gif][sm=icon_rock.gif]

 

The chrome emblems are taken care of courtesy of my girlfriend. No idea how long it will take to get them though, how long did yours take?

 

And would what I have and possibly the headers be considered mostly stock?

Should I stick with the stock plugs still or is there something else I should go with and this may sound stupid but is there any way I can get some red wires without sacrificing performance and paying out the A** for them? My engine is fairly clean I just want something to make it look nicer.

 

Taylor or MSD wires. You can get Taylor wires through Summit Racing for $65. The MSD wires will run you about $100 but I prefer the MSD myself.
