Here is an exhaust clip of my z28. I just had a Magnaflow muffler fitted, custom bent tail pipes with stainless tips welded on. Not the best camera quality but it sounds much better through head phones, or ear buds. Like it? no? thoughts? thanks!!!

Is there anything else done exhaust wise? Headers, larger piping, etc...?

I always listen to exhaust clips through headphones. Closest to reality IMO

 

yeah youre right. Its got such a low end rumble to it. i LOVE it. my whole setup was only $220 including installation

 

Is it just the muffler or cat-back?

 

I like the sound of the Magnaflow but i installed the full cat back, pacesetter long tubes and off road Y. A 3 inch system is sufficient

I found the magnaflow on sale at the time of purchase and added a coupon and got free shipping so ended up with the entire cat back for around $270-$300 if memory serves me.

I haven't seen it that low since. Not a bad price for a stainless system

 

This is just the muffler. The # is 12267. The same muffler that comes in the 15684 catback. This stock system is stainless anyway.

 

Sounds mean! If I'm ever to get a V8, that is what I'm going to put on it. For now, my v6 has the flow masters.

 

I think the flowmasters sounded OK, but the Magnaflow just was better , im my opinion. And it was 100% stainless steel, flowmaster wasnot.

 

I think that although the exhaust sounds great, I was more focused on that ant in the foreground of the video around the 0:20 mark. That's one sexy mother****er

 

The ant is definitely trying to steal the spotlight. Don't ya just hate those with that look at me attitude.
