Default What to do with Purple

Bought a '96 Z a couple of months ago because it had everything I wanted, it was a 2 owner car with low mileage, perfect condition, 6 speed, leather, no T tops and the price was great. Only thing is that its purple...thats not a bad thing but I'd like to break it up some. Stripes are the obvious answer but I haven't seen a whole lot of purple Z's. I'm thinking black or gray stripes. Or outrageous Flames maybe? Also wonder about using decal kits or getting it actually painted. I kind of hate to paint it cause the original paint is perfect

Anybody know a good site to find striped/flamed cars? Any other thoughts on breaking up the purple? Ground effect kits are out case the back roads I live on would trash them.

good thing you don't plan on painting it because i think purple can be bad *** if its right.

Hockey stripe? Which one is that? All I've seen are those the SS's have around the hood scoop and the Z stripes that come out around the twin scoops.

And yeah, I do like the purple, not too many that color on the road and its a nice shade of puple too. Just that I want do a little something to accent it some.

Thats the hockey stripe. That set up would look good with the hood decal too.

If you want something simple (other than hockey stripe) not involving paint you could have twin pin stripes laid down the sides.

If you want to go around the back of the car you could run them in the middle of the Z28 emblem & wrap around the back "Camaro" panel.

You could do black & grey. Find someone that does a good job & it will look great.....

I think the hockey stripes would look pretty sweet.
