RE: what do i need to do
i'd like to run a reasonable amount of boost. not so much that it's not fine as a daily driver tho.
and i should have specified, it runs perfect now, but i'm talking about things i need to install before i get the sc. such as headers

If you haven't done headers yet it sounds like you are nowhere near ready to run any sort of forced induction. Go read the "Where to Start Modding" thread that's stickied in the top of the 4th Gen section, this will give you a lot of good information and give you some ideas of where you need to start. Once you've done that and you need more specifics (i.e. what brands, what type etc.) we can help you more there.

RE: what do i need to do
If i may. First, what you need to do is to identify what exactly do you wish to accomplish? if you have not yet done the basic bolt ons, then that might be a good start. Then, if you just want a little more off-the-line improvement, gear change is the way to go. At question is what do you wish to accomplish? If your goal is just to have a high HP # for whatever reason, perhaps bragging rights, then so be it.
Adding FI to an engine is not something to be taken lightly. You may be able to accomplish your goals via other means; we can't help you unless you can identify what your objective is.

RE: what do i need to do
i was looking at that thread of where to start and it says that depending on what i want to do i will need to get specific types of exhaust, header etc. thats what i'm here to figure out. eventually i'm wanting to run forced induction so i'm wanting to know what things i need specifically so i won't have to redo them later
