I found this under the dash of my camaro when installing a new CD player.. Anyone have any idea what it is? Looks like a phone cord or something:






It runs over toward the computer somewhere, I did not feel like pulling the car out of the garage to open passenger door to look under dash(its freezing outside).

Well in that case i don't feel bad about cutting it out

 

Its for a remote gain. A remote adjustment for an amp.

 

The car came with a audio system, but don't see that wire hooked to it. So guess it's from an old set up. The guy run entire new wiring for the aftermarket speakers he installed (ones in the panels with LEDs in them), and left the factory wire and plugs intact. I'm guessing in case some one wanted to go back factory. No telling what else i will find in this car.
