Default What is it?

I have a noise coming from my right rear whenever I turn left at all. If I turn harder it seems to be a little louder. I think it may be my wheel bearing going bad or something. The noise sounds like the noise you get when you rev up the engine a little bit and just get off the gas, that kind of rolling noise. It is not a constant tone. I also noticed that what I turn right hard enough there is a slight metal on metal rubbing noise in the left rear. The noises are definitely coming from something in the drive train as it changes pitch/volume according to speed. Any ideas? thanks.

It sounds like bad wheel bearings. Making a left turn puts more force on the right bearings, and right turns puts it on the left side. Since you say the noise gets worse as you turn, bearings make the most sense.
