Default Vortec Engine?

hey guys,

i just picked up a black 1993 camaro, T tops, 5 speed. has the stock v6 in it. and was wondering if i ever wanted it to be faster would a v6 vortec engine improve the proformance much over the stock v6?

i got it cheap only payed 800.00, and no dents/cracks at all and a nice interior so not like i have much tied up in it.

thanks in advance.

if that seems like a lot of work then an engine swap isnt for you. it takes a lot of time, work, unplanned money being spent, and motivation to get wat you want. if trouble isnt wat you want then just go find another engine just like yours and rebuild is and grab some bolt ons or something.
