I have a 99 v6 and I just kicked the crap out of a 98 mustang gt
from 20mph
I was 4 carlengths ahead at 60mph!!!

 

Did this Mustang driver know that you where trying to race him????

This is a Camaro forum. We all know what a 99 V6 is capable of, I have one. Also,I am not dumb enough to beleive that I will smoke a Mustang GT. My car is quick for a V6. not V8 quick. So please have respect for us. Maybe the Mustang was parked and you just thought it was driving.....

 

well the 96 - 98's only had 225 hp, but had a good amount of torque, but not slow enough for a v6 with only 200 hp to beat it by 4 cars

 

she knew but i have some bolt on's, she has nothing,
and the v6 horspower rating is higher than the 94-98 mustang gt

 

she was talkin crap, but barely knew how many cylinders she had,
and she doesnt know how to take care of a car

 

SO what you are saying is she couldnt drive. I bet ya if I put my grandmother in a jet, I would beat her in my camaro. See where I am going.. Its like braging that you beat up a girl. And the horsepower rating...um wrong.

 

The GT's have more power than the 3.8 Camaro, sorry, your wrong there. I believe the 4.6 GT is rated at 220hp, not sure about the 5.0. My friend has a 98 GT and I have a 99 3.8. From a 45 roll we are even till about 70 andhe starts to pull, from a dig he took me pretty easily. I've beat a couple other GT's from a roll but by a fender or less, and I've been beaten by others. It's just not likely that with a good driver you would beat it by 4 lengths even with minor bolt-onsunless the car has some bad mechanical problems. Let me put it this way, if any one of us was driving, you would probably lose.

 

she must not know how to drive.. but at any rate.. 98 was the WORST year for both v6 and v8.. slow as *****... I mean ****.. i beat this new Solstice the other day... i even sat at a red light and did a loooong *** burn out next to it so the driver knew it was on...
