the value of my 4th gen
what do you guys think,
the natural cycle of things is that when a new body style comes out the 5th gen,the latest as my 4th gen will loose significant value.
do you think that this will apply to us, as 4th gen owners?
if so i have considered selling at proper time to retain value and purchace a new one. its not really something i want to do but as a realist its deffinatly something i have to consider. i bought my baby new in 2000 and i only owe a few K on her and will have her paid off by the middle ofnext year about 8 or 9 months, so she has been with me for a long time.

besides, if you do, you'll have a hell of a time trying to get another, and like i was told the other day, everyones gonna have the new one when it does come out... and urs looks sick neway.
idk, but when the camaro does come out, im pretty sure we wont lose too much value, if not any. but there is that chance. in my opinion, i think that when the 5th gen does come to the market, that more people will be buying 4th gens because they wont be able to afford the new one, and will be buying the 4th gens or any other gen for that matter just to say "hey, look at me i got a camaro", but you never know
I don’t think we will loss some if any value. The fifth gen is basicly a hole new car. Not a upgrade on the F-body. It is possible with the new intrest in camaro’s from the new generation and the movie transformers lol that some camaro’s could see more intrest. But I would keep your 2000 at least until you see a few 5th gens running around and see how they actually run and perform. I don’t know about you all but I cant wait to go head to head with one and see if its every thing Chevy promises.
