Yep, sell it. Buy what you want. Why in the world would you by a V6 and then swap the engine. It is never cheaper to do an engine swap.

 

Look on the V6 forum section there is a sticky about the swap. I posted my experience with it about 4 or 5 pages in. I was not joking about the 12 step program from the amount of alcohol needed to complete the job... you either need it for relaxing after 18+ hours under 2 cars, or you drank it to forget 18+ hours under 2 cars.

Enjoy the V6, it is a great cruiser, I know I have a 99 V6 and I love it. I actually like driving my V6 Camaro over the Z28. Now on nice days it is fun to take the Z28 out and play but my 3.8L is smoother and quieter making for a more enjoyable cruise. If you still must have an LS1 engine... like others have said go out and buy one, dont swap it.
