Hey guys, I'm looking for a short shifter rod for an automatic transmission. ( although you probably already figured that out. ) I know they make them for manual transmissions in 6" and 6.5" would those work on my car? I wanna do the automatic to manual shifter conversion, where you install an adapter that makes it so when you want to shift you push down on the shift ****. But I don't like how high the stock shifter sits. Any ideas?

 

I have never heard of a swap like that, but it sounds pretty cool. For my shifter I just cut about an inch out of the middle and then welded them back together. It worked great and looks awesome. Mine is a manual though.

 

That could work, I just need to find someone with a welder.
