Yes, it's a fact that PA has the worse roads. I really hope you don't plan on driving the Z during winter...I would say go ahead and undercoat if cost isn't a problem. Why not?

Lol nah I don't plan on driving it in the winter. I'm trying to rent a garage for my projects.. guess after I'm settled in I have to start looking for a beater car also. Like I don't have enough cars.
Thanks for all the input everyone, sounds like this might be a good investment.

I would lightly undercot it to protect it from rock chips and stuff. But not heavy enough to hide problems. You can never have too many cars...
