Umm where does this go?
I came home the other day to my mothers boyfriend tinkering around under the hood of my car. He was messing with this and that so I went off on him, and he unhooked this and I have no idea where it goes. The sleeve that goes on the plug is purple...can anyone help? Its on the drivers side and right now I have it tied around the abs junction till i find out where it goes...

Not to change the subject, but is that the "orange" Fram oil filter I see?
If that's what you have, don't use them. They're bad news!
Here's some helpful oil filter study info: http://people.msoe.edu/~yoderw/oilfilterstudy/oilfilters.html

That connector does not look like it has been hooked to anything for a very long time. Maybe an option you do not have like cruise control?

I have cruise control...there are no other wires that aren't hooked to anything on the car I know it haaaaas to go somewhere! Stupid random wires....I'm almost positive there are 3 but I'll have to look in the morning. What oil filter would you guys recommend?

I did say "Like cruise control" Pull one of your other connector. Look at how clean it is. That is what the soft seal does. Not only is the connector very dirty but the metal on the connection has a layer of oxidation on it. That can take years to form on a treated connector. You will not see on a air tight connector that is pluged in. That connector has either never been pluged in or has been unpluged for a very long time. Infact if that is a functional connector I would take it apart and clean before I tried to use it. That oxidation will cause the connector to fail pretty quickly.
