Looking at a 97 z28 camaro, has 150k miles but he says he has receipts to prove its been maintained very well. new tires, battery, and brakes. Its 4 speed auto and the owner claims its a 30th anniversary car. It has the logo on the seats, but the seats appear to be cloth. And the color isnt white and orange... Can anyone tell me if this is really a 30th anniversary car by the pictures?

 

I believe its a 97 30th Anniversary Edition but its not the Special Edition. Meaning that it was made 30 years after the first but it doesn't have the Special Edition package. The value of a 97 30th Anniversary Edition and a 97 30th Anniversary Special Edition aren't the same. By the pictures I'd say its just a 30th Anniversary. I could be wrong thought, maybe someone else will respond as well.

 

i thought the 97 30th special anniversary SS's were white with orange stripes
btw my v6 has the same 30th anniversary logos

 

i have a 30th vert z28 it is white with orange stripes and has white leather seats the top was white was changed to black if you go on comp nine web site you can enter the vin and see what the spec sheet on the car when i ran mine it shows a 30th package witch included the white seats, top, rims and the orange stripes

so that is a 30th but does not have the 30th package

 

Thats what I had just explained, its a 97 30th Anniversary NOT a 30th Anniversary SPECIAL Edition. There's a difference, this is just a Camaro made 30 years after the original making it a 30th Anniversary without the Special Edition Package.

 

HEre is a true 30th special package car. This is an SS but the package could have been ordered on Z28s as well. All other 97s got the logos and some got the logos in color imbrodery like the special editions did but they were not SE cars.

The 30th anniversary Camaros are white with orange racing stripes. I don't think they made any of them, other than that.

 

That's a 30th Anniversary Special Edition, not a standard 30th Anniversary Model.
