Default traded the stang for a maro

i have always been a chevy fan, and when i was looking to buy a v8 a stang cought my eyes for 2.5k so i bought it was a 97. disappointed by the power i did the full PI swap, then full bolt ons, and 3.73'sstill the wimpy 4.6l made barely enough power to beatmy brother-in-laws ws6. so i sold it and bought whaat my hearts has been longing for. a 350 5.7l.

i have learned money won't buyu happiness, only a bigger motor will.

let the modding began, of a real car this time.

the car has 27k miles on it its a 96 z28, leather interior, and ss wheels and the mods in my sig for 5k

sweet. it will be nice to have another guy who has spent time with mustangs around here. too many guys around here are "chevy only" and, while the stangs ARE outperformed by GM, some guys around here treat them like 40hp fancy lawn mowers [8D]. leads to some interesting discussion

I had a 98 V6, car was my baby, got me from A to B and it looked pretty good. But like stated before, money couldnt buy me happiness, thebomb sound system and paint job werent worth it if i could just go buy a V8 and spend nothin modding up the engine and focus more on looks.

Maybe i read something wrong but if your 4.6 mustang could beat a ws6, it would beat a Z28 wouldnt it, or was it an older WS6

thats beside the point. a GT with full boltons will get about 260 rwhp (i know cuz I had one, 260 AFTER a dyno tune). with a set of good cams about 280 rwhp. you dont see 300rwhp NA out of the 4.6 without head work or stroking. no matter how you cut it the GT wont take out a new TA without some form of power adder
