Default Tow strap location for track/HPDE

Hi,

I am going to take my 6 banger to the local road course, and eventually the Z28 I am going to buy. Anyone have ideas where to attach the tow strap required?

When towing mine I put the strap around both A-arms and hooked them into themselves. Be careful to avoid brake lines and the wires for your wheel speed sensors. Then I just hooked another tow strap onto the one that's hooked onto the a-arms. This helps to alleviate front end damage IMO.

I always used the front sway bar or the rear axle tubes.

Thanks for your replies! I was thinking a permanent attachment that goes to the edge of the bumper. the rear end seems like a good spot, but where to attach the "hook/loop"?

I did find it Craby, it attaches to the subframe above the rear end. Now to figure out how to get a tow strap to the outer edge. Thanks!

Yes,

my plan is similar. For autocrossing, everything fits in the trunk at the moment, but being in W. Los Angeles County, a place to keep and work on a non-street car is more expensive than building up and competing a street legal one in a couple friends' driveways.

Nice! What is that opening in the fender in front of the wheels?
