hey guys i found the wheels i really like...there the torque thrust 2 wheels and i think i would go with 17x9.5 on the front and 17x11 in the back and i was wondering if they were lighter than stock...i heard on some other forums they are extremly light and would be a good upgrade for looks and performance but i was wondering ur opinions on them ?

 

It depends on what wheels you had on your car stock. If you had the Z28 wheels on it, they were an aluminum wheel. Usually the casting process at the manufacture is a little better than that of aftermarket companies, so the stock aluminum wheels would probably be a bit lighter than the TT2's. If you had the regular wheels that came on the V6 cars they TT2's would probably be a little lighter. Wheels are really more about what you like the looks of in my opinion, if you want to be fast you can always get a set of light weight wheels for your track tires...

 

it sounds like a good way to go to me anyway the same weight or a little lighter...and they look awesome....one more question for the 17x11's on the back what offset would i use ?
