I like the clean black look, don't care much for the wet shine.
Gotta be careful with the fresh overspray if some gets on the driveway.
While walking on the drive, I almost wiped out once when I hit that patch of "black ice".

it actually did rain today, so I took a special test trip. I'll get some more pictures up this weekend. The rain and puddles on the road dont seem to have decreased the shine at all.

here it is, just washed all the dirt off.

You can see the spot where i rubbed the curb in this picture near the top of the tire. Otherwise, it looks great.

Overall its holding up really well. There are one or two small spots where some kind of small road debris got kicked up and made a small scrape similar to the large one you can see in this picture on another tire. I chalk that up to driving a total of 240 miles per week round trip to work. Next update will be the two week mark.

Update:

From now on I'll compare the pictures from the end of week 1 to each week moving forward. I picked the picture after 1 week because on the day of application the tire i used was is direct sun light, all the others were in the shade. I think comparing pictures all taken in the shade will make for a better comparison. There was also little to no difference between day 1 and the end of week 1.

here is after the first week:

here is today, 2 weeks:

Dirty:

Clean:

It still looks great. There has been a slight decrease in the overall shine, but the durability has, so far lived up to the claims made by turtle wax. We had a lot of rain here on Wed. and Thurs. much more than last weekend. I am still very happy with how its holding up, finally no more reapplying after a rainy day. Oh, yeah I have also put 520+ miles on the car since applying.

I use Mequiers tire shine. Looks great for a long time. Shines deeper imo than the turtle wax stuff. I've tried them all. I'm sold on Mequiers.

the only product i've used from them is, their hot tire shine, at least i think it was by them. It was a year or so ago. it def gave a great shine but would wash right off in the rain. What was the name of the stuff you used?

here is an idea of how it looks when you dont drive over 500 miles in 2 weeks.

my wife drives about 100-150 to/from work a week, she has put somewhere between 200-300 miles in the past 2 weeks. It has held up a little better.
