Time for LT's & Y pipe
I would recommend Dynatech over Pacesetter solely due to the fact that they were recommended to me by Pete over at Dragon Race Engineering, I really don't have much personal experience with them excpet seeing them on a car. From what I've seen, and from what Pete said, they seem to be a good high quality header, for a reasonable price. From summit racing you're looking at about $478 for the headers alone, so they're more expensive than Pacesetter headers, and that doesn't include the Y pipe or anything like that, but I know they're going to be a higher quality.
I have to agree with 95slvr: You get what you pay for (for the most part). Sure there will be some outliers but you have to fork out the cash for the good stuff. With better quality, typically comes with more overhead, higher cost of R&D, therefore, a premim for their product!
I was just over at the HRE factory on Saturday and the parking lot was filled with $100k - $500k cars not because their rims expensive, but beacuse they make the best quality rim out there...BBS makes some nice stuff, they just look like something my grandma would sport.
I am on my 7th motor in my 68' Camaro right now and each time that I have rebuilt the motor was because I cut a corner somewhere and it caused a mechanical failure.
IMO...If you're gonna do something, do it right (the first time)!

pacesetters fit very well on the LS1s, the only possible issue is you may have to notch the kmember. but on the LT1 its a little different. what type of car does teh OP have?
You say Pacesetters fit well on LS1s but LT1 is different? Do you know how the Pacesetters fit on the LT1?
You said what type of car does the OP have? I am not sure what OP is?

Karamro68, I've heard issues with the Pacesetter headers and needing to dent the collector to get them to clear the firewall.
Spartan, Like I said in your other thread, why don't you go for the $470 Dynatech headers or $800 Kooks if you're willing to pay $730 for Hookers? Don't get me wrong, Hooker SC's are nice, but the Dynatech are just as nice for over $200 less and the Kooks are much nicer for $70 more...

You're partially right in saying that you pay for the name, but I can safely say, from personal experience as well as the thoughts of other professionals in the performance field (I've talked to a guy at a local speed shop that focuses on late model chevy engines about the difference in headers specifically), that the Kooks and Dynatech systems are the highest quality and have the best power/torque numbers out of all the headers for F-bodies. I've personally compared Hooker headers to my Kooks and I can safely say that the quality of the welds, the quality of the bends, the thickness of the flange is all of a higher calibre. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that Hooker or SLP are bad, but they aren't as good.
Edit: I would also like to note that the Pacesetter headers come with a 1 and 3/8" primary, the Hookers come with a 1 and 5/8" primary, my Kooks and the Dynatech systems have 1 and 3/4" primaries, meaning they will make more power than the Pacesetter or Hooker headers because they can flow more. I looked at the SLP headers for the LS1 (they don't make a long tube for the LT1) and they are a tuned 1 and 3/4" header, but I still submit that the quality in Kooks or Dynatech is a higher because all the tubes are 1 mandrel bent piece. That being said, I rest my case, take from it what you will...

I wouldn't mind that at all
Really though, you're not going to be dissappointed with the Dynatechs.
