A lot depending on what you have now and what you change too.

Also look into an underdrive pulley; relatively cheap and adds a bit of power but increases response by a good bit.

Also if you are looking to changing your clutch soon, look into a lightweight flywheel as well

cold air intake, headers, cat back exhaust, 342 or 373 gears, shift kit and tune.

If you ever end up pulling the trans, definitely go for a high stall converter. Made a WORLD of difference for me. Lots of work, though.

throttle response?

Are you saying that when in park and running that if you hit the gas pedal it does not respond quickly? Does it bog or backfire?

Or, is it as you are rolling along, say 30mph and you mash the pedal, it sits there a while before kicking down a gear?

or, are you talking about just wanting more performance from the dig?

please elaborate so we understand what you mean by "throttle response"

Oh come on. If I came to you and said my car doesn't seem to be responding to the throttle quickly you would be thinking something else beside improving low end performance
