Default Throttle Position Sensor help

With my Innova 3140 OBD II scanner, I'm getting generic code PO122 for TPS Low circuit input along with generic code PO440 which is Evaporative Emission Control System malfunction. Now I realize they could be entirely different problems, however, is it possible that the Evaporative Emission Control malfunction is due to the failing TPS? Or is their no way they could be related? I understand what each does but not sure if one effects the other. If not, Im thinking the evap system has either a bad purge control selonoid valve or a faulty evap canister vent shut valve. Anyone know for sure if they're related or separate problems?

I've since fixed the TPS problem by replacing the tps after determining it was faulty thru a series of circuit tests.. Now I have to find the determined vacuum leak that is causing the evap code PO440 to be thrown. It's failing the large leak test. It's a vaccum line on either or both sides of the canister that are most likely the culprits. I'll be replacing all the vaccum lines to and from the canister. Not going to play games with a cheap fix like that, lol. just going to replace them all. I'll keep everyone posted.
