I've been talking to the seller, I have the VIN number and I'm gonna try to run a car fax. He sent me bigger pics and the car looks good, needs a few things but that's expected on a 20 year old GM car. The price is right though.

There's an easy way to get a free history report using eBay. Make a fake ad for the car with little information and list it using local eBay classifieds (the listing is free). The site automatically runs an Autocheck history report on the VIN. Wait a minute after posting for the history to come back and save the HTML file.
Autocheck is a decent source and will give you a rough idea of the car's history. Before I bought my Camaro, I cross referenced the Autocheck I pulled from eBay with the Carfax the dealership supplied and everything was fine.

The vin # is 2G2FV22P3P2211921
I tried making a ebay classified listing and no auto check history came back. What did I do wrong?

Yeah, I don't know what that's supposed to mean either. Also notice that the car was purchased/retitled just this past August. Then back in April. And Nov. 2010. The car sure is trading hands a lot in a short amount of time, wonder why?

I did find this when I googled the VIN:
http://usedcarsfsbo.com/asp/Item.asp...=4%2F15%2F2011
Looks like the car sold at auction 4/15 and then it was registered 4/20...between than only ~2000 miles put on the car. The history does seem shady though...
