Default Those little clips that hold the window/lock cluster to the door

I took my door apart a few days ago to adjust the window, and one of those little clips that hold the window/lock cluster to the door won't stay on the cluster. It's not bent up, it just won't stay in the cluster- if I push it in, it p'tings off into the door handle and I have to fish it out. Is there a trick to getting it to stay? I'm tempted to superglue it in...

The same thing happened to me with that clip.I think the place that the clip goes into wears out.I ended up using epoxy putty. Worked great.

when i got my car the driver side had broke and then i was going thru the drive thru of mcdonalds with a buddy and another of my friends decided to jump but he landed on the door and the passenger side popped out... i got some hella strong glue and fixed it.. looks like crap but does the job.

This switch broke a couple years ago- the clips AND the cluster are relatively new, and all factory OEM components. Cheap GM crap, I suppose... I'll try the superglue tonight and see if that holds. If not, I'll mix up some epoxy. Either way, it should be hidden. Thanks guys!
