lt1 is the finest looking camaro there is. the ignition system is ok and the 96-97 have the same obd2 system as the ls does. all depends on what body style you like. i have about 10k into mine and am pushing close to 400hp, if i had bought a ls it would have cost about the same and i would have had less hp. either way camaro wins.

If you're looking at a t-top car, drive it through a car wash to check for leaks.
And I don't think we need a thread discussing evidence of undesirable activities.. As a former detailer, I've seen enough "sketch white stains" as we used to call them. *shudder* And we found a lot of gross stuff in cars.

Well I was mainly referring to cigarette ashes, various forms of food wrappers, scraps of paper and loose change, among other things. Some of you have seem to gone in another direction with it. Filthy, filthy minds...
Which leads me to another point. If the front passenger seat is leather, you shouldn't have a worry. However, if it's cloth, you may want to work a steam cleaning into the deal...
