Default thinkin about 4.10s

anyone ever used something like this? I plan on going with a whole new strange rear end at some point, but i wont have that kind of cash for several years. I may be in a completely different fbody by then [8D][&:][:@](one of those faces will match that situation depending on what might happen). anyway, for this car im going to just swap in 4.10 gears and hope the rear lasts, and i thought of the above as a "while im at it" sort of mod. so, does this do anything, or is this kind of the "turbonator" or rear ends?

It should improve your times as long as you can launch it without breaking the rear end lose every time. Get a good set of Mickey Thompson drag radials to make sure you get good grip off the line.
Oh, and you can watch your gas mileage go down too, that's the bad side of it.

me thinks that it would help keep ur gears(4.10s) alive.. not the rear end, but eh i dont know, i had 12 turbonators on mine[8D]chucka click... j/k.

yea, well, i ment that the piece looks like it would help fit the gears better, and hold the gears better, and prevent the "T" of the axle from bending. doubt it will help rest of axle tho. prolly not with it.
