clean the battery terminals and cable ends with a wire brush, yes a semi bad connection there can do what is happening to you. lol, well, you said it wasnt the battery.

The battery did test fine, and it is fairly new. BUT, I am one to rush things and think the absolute worst thing about the situation so I might have jumped the gun. I am going to have the battery and alternator tested tomorrow and change the terminals regardless. Oh, FYI, when I got home about an hour ago, I got out of my truck and walked over to see if she'd start and she fired right up. Of course right ha ha

Unfortunately, if that is the problem, my car will still run like crap ha ha.

Also, my Oil Pressure Gauge is always different. Sometimes the pressure is good others it is bad. I will start it and it will be good. Shut it off, come back and it will be bad. Then come back later and it is good again. What is going on there?

yah these gages arent the best. that could be the oil pressure sensor sticking.

I have a 2000 z 28 camero,went out one morning and car would not start. Security light is now blinking ,had starter tested at auto zone(said it was fine) have had electrical problems since it was new.radio,heat,air,windows all stop at once but do come back after a few minutes.Check engine light now is on.tested key with meter seems ok.tried two keys,still nothing.could this be a broken wire in the ignition switch ?any suggestions would be helpfull,thanks

Just a couple of minor suggestions.
1) Learn to spell Camaro (not camero).
2) You should start a new thread, instead of adding on to an older one.
3) It is possible that you have a BCM problem as I believe the BCM controls almost all of the accessories on your car.
