Wow. I would have expected better from Iridium plugs. My coppers are at about 3500 miles now and still look as good as when I took them out of the box.

well plugs have about had it. 136,506 so 11k miles. not bad, i did push em more than i did the ngk. im hoping the extra spark from the ltcc will cut down on the rich at warmup.

any reason why you're running iridiums?

My motor and you're motor are worlds different and I change my plugs after every pass, but when I street drove my car, it NEVER had iridiums in it, I've heard nothing but bad things about them. Have you tried running a basic ngk tr55 or tr6 plug in your car?

tried standard plugs and they lasted a couple days. have not tried tr55s though. im having ecm problems now, think its a chip gone bad. playin musical ecms now, switchin memcals and ecms. so far got 1 ecm and 1 memcal to work without throwin the 51 code so now im tryin a pcmforless tune to see if the ltcc is not liking the tunes or the solomon tune went wack or doesnt like the ltcc

interesting, I know the ls1 guys run a tr55 at stock or bolt on power levels, might be something to consider trying? Especially at 1.95 a plug!! The tr6's most use until the 550whp range and beyond that it just depends on power adder, but anyways, the tune up in the car could definitely be fouling plugs out, do you have a wideband in it? Any chance of a datalogger?

I gotcha, it honestly seems like something in your tune-up is off. I'd get that straightened up and try a set of tr55/tr6 plugs, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how well they do, not to mention not having to spend all that money on iridiums!!!
