anyone know a place to buy a stock 98 ported TB? and what is the biggest size i could use for stock intake manifold? (aftermarket TB)

I don't know where to get one, but I can try to help you out by telling you to save your money and purchase an air lid or save for headers or other bolt ons. You really don't see much improvement by replacing a TB until you're making some serious power, the stock one is big enough that it flows more air than the stock motor needs, or the stock air-lid can flow.

yea my lid just came in the mail today, i was only asking about the TB cause i heard it improves throttle response but i really wouldnt pay $300+ for a new one but if i could find a ported/polished stock TB that would be cool

Most shops that do any type of engine work or a machine shop can do it for you should spend around 100 bucks. A word of caution it could be hit or miss. I know people that have had great luck with this not so mutch as power but like you said response. But if its not done right it can cause isues.
