it really relates to how good of a launch you got. most cars should be able to hit a 2.0 60'.

ORIGINAL: SpecterGT260

i actually ran mine with a 2.2 60'.1.9's would have put me in the 12s possibly. i think his car wastuned wrong, butfor the sake of making my point i didnt need to mention that. stop trying to start this up. u dont have to get all butt hurt every time someone mentions that an ls1 fbody will run 13 flat pretty easily. not to mention that the Trans Am is about 250 lbs heavier than a camaro
No reason to make excuses for why your car didn't do any better... it's not supposed to. Go on acting like I'm crazy if you want, but under average conditions with an average driver, an LS1 is a mid 13 car. In fact, if anyone with a LS1 Camaro or Firebird A4 with the same mods as me (cai, exhaust system) wants to come to Kentucky and race, I'd be more than happy to put $500 down that they won't win by the 1 second they're supposed to win by according to the LS1 fanboys. I'm sure I won't get any takers on that.

its not an excuse for my car, its a justification for the numbers that I and many of the memers (even LT1 owners) quote. anyone with even a little track experience can tell you that .3 sec difference in the 60' will translate into about a half second at the end of the track, easily. im starting to get the feeling that you are taking LT1 best times vs LS1 average times. average times for lt1's are not 13.9, but the cars are certainly capable of that, even a 13.8, but i havent seen that personally on a stock car.
