Default Taking my car to the track Wednesday

Hey what do you guys think my 1995 Z28 (California Edition) with 95,000 miles will run? Im gonna be running at Sear's Point pretty much sea level maybe 100 ft. im removing all my stuff in the trunk ( sub box, spare tire, and jack). My mods are K&N Cold Air Intake, 2.5" Flowmaster catback, cutout, and a JET air foil. i was thinking a 13.9. the temp. will probly be around 50-70 degress 2 btw.

13.9 if you get a really good launch, 2.0 60' or better. if u arent used to the car expect mid 14s.

ur best bet is to hold the brake hard and to give it gas until the tires are just about to break loose. u dont have a stall so this may be difficult. but u can pull a pretty good time if u launch this way. just drop the break and hammer down when the light goes

i love doing that in 4wd [8D] can get more RPMs and less spinnage..

but dont lsiten to specter, you'll run a 13.9 on a real good launch, with a 2.0 60', and a mid 14 other wise. *repeats specter*

i just had to get my .02 cents in[] sorry.

the point is its hard to tell.

at my local tracks the times are slower than accepted. we arent really at altitude, so i think its just track conditions, but my buddy pulled a 12.9 w/ 1.9 60'with his LS1 TA but it had full boltons. I hit 13.4 with intake and a catback.

i actually ran mine with a 2.2 60'.1.9's would have put me in the 12s possibly. i think his car wastuned wrong, butfor the sake of making my point i didnt need to mention that. stop trying to start this up. u dont have to get all butt hurt every time someone mentions that an ls1 fbody will run 13 flat pretty easily. not to mention that the Trans Am is about 250 lbs heavier than a camaro
