Tail light swap with pics
Hi all, I know it has been done before, darling reject did it last year.
But i've gotta be the only UK based LS1 Z28 with these lights
Has to do a bit of modification to fit them as I had to put amber indcator bulbs in the clear section and put full tail/stop lights in all the red bit. Also had to machine out the clear bit to fit another bulb in for my reverse lamps then had to cut down my burger panel in the inside so they would fit where I put the new bulbs.
Really happy with the results. Sorry some pics are poor phone ones the others are my camera

And at night (phone pic):
and tail lights on
OH, also got some US wingmirrors of the same scrap car too, cost a lot over here about $200 for the pair and they are scuffed badly but look much better than EURO ones as seen in first pic

Looks good with the lights on. I guess it's like the old crunchy or smooth peanut butter debate. I grew up with the crunchy kind, and in later years thought the smooth stuff was the awesome one. Others would have the opposite effect!
When I had a 96, I liked the new style lights better, so put on a set from a 97. It was an easier swap than what you did, since I kept the light configurations the same. I only had to re-notch a couple of the housing openings with a utility knife.
