swapping v6 to v8
#11
Well it does not look like sound advise is going to be heard once again. So we do this the hard way. Read the threads listed and buy another car as a doner. You will need alot more than just the engine. I assisted a friend in doing a 96RS to 2000 Z28 swap and the only thing that did not get changed was the carpet seats and headliner. Believe it or not if you go with a car that uses the newer dash you will need to change the heater box, and door panels as they are different from the earlier cars. Oh and when I said those were the ONLY parts that did not get changed I am not joking. Wiring, fuel lines, tank, brake lines, suspension, and diff just to name a few parts that were different from V6 to V8.
So listen to those who have been there before or dont but be warned when you try to cut corners and cant get the engine to run right.

#2. I find it funny your call "them" dumb**** and your the one that doesn't have the know-how or you wouldnt post this thread.
#3. Speaking of hooked on phonics, soup is something you consume. Modify is the new word for the day. Ex. " I would like to modify my 3800 series motor.
#4. Please don't be a jerk on here anymore.
