Swap
Want to do a really unique swap, something that definitely grabs attention, going to do all the work myself, and probably do it as a junkyard pull, the car is currently a 94 camaro with the v6, any suggestions on what I should keep my eye out for, engine and transmission wise?
i would not do it most guys end up spending way to much money, with the v6 cars, only swap i would think about would be lsx swap an it takes alot more then back yard ,if you can think about its been tryed too,a good z28. then you got something to work with, but your better off to just get a desent used z28 an take the badges off an drive it from 93 to 97 there out there .one needs a ton of experience to do a swap too, with swaps
v6 cars need to be stripped down to the shell, then most times turn out to be a track car,go to 4th gen projects you will see them all, most start then never finish when they find out how much work is intailed ,there are some that work out, the 94 i think was the 3.4l ,an not much you can do done with those, the parts are hard to find anymore ,though i think you could put the v6 3800 engine in it from 95 on too 2009 an a long list on many cars to get the engines trans an rear end from ,
but from my experience with my 406 swap works but was a pain to get right ,even though it was running in 40 hours an driveing it ,to many mods to follow up , i am going back to a stock 98 to 02 ls1 ,or a ford mustang gt 05 to 09 have both proved to be great cars
