Default supercharger for the an ls1

what is the best supercharger for an ls1....iv been reading and theres a hundred kinds some are intercooled and some arent. iv looked at magnacharger and idk about it...iv also heard procharger d-1sc is one of the best but theres so many...i would want one that i can run lower boost on stock engine then eventually run high boost on a built engine what would be the best bet...and i want to be able to slowly build up to a supercharger in the end and not have to replace all my bolt on parts if i got a supercharger

is that better than a magnacharger...the mag. just seems like it would wear out internally and it wouldnt work as efficently as a twin intercooled, oil fed supercharger ...what boost would i be able to run on a stock motor 5,6 ? what horsepower could i expect...and would i jsut have to order a bigger pully and when im ready move up to a smaller pully ? how hard is a supercharger install ?

a magnacharger sits ontop the motor right? i think all the fbody guys goes syntrifical lik the procharger or vortech. the procharger is a really nice blower and should last. on the stock shortblock 5-6 psi is a safe limit i think. depending on other mods on the car im sure 450-500hp would be an ok guess but lik i said depending on other mods. im assuming you have headers exhaust and all that other stuff? i think the pulley that comes with it is for lower boost

alright the make sure you hav all the bolt ons before supercharging. if you spent 12k on the car your lookin at a total of lik 22k after its all said and done. good luck with it let us know wen you get it. the d-1sc is wat you need. the f-1 is the biggest one they hav its insane actually

if you are looking for low boost at first go with the p1sc. the D will be too big for stock internal boost levels. bigger blowers take more power to turn

an SS camaro is going to be more exspensive because it's the higher end your prolly looking at 15 min for one in good condition, at least around me thats the lowest ive seen an 01 SS go for, i'm not sure about the exact price, check out kelly blue book. the procharger is good for a engine with work done to it, but it will most likely blow something, so i would have to agree with specter with the ps1c
